Would it make a difference?

Would it make a difference if Bernie Sanders runs as an Independent? I really don’t think so. Less than 20% of his support comes from “Democrats” and how many of those are youthful first time voters.
*
The rest of his support comes from non-Democratic supporters, with most again being young voters who would not even be voting in this election except for his bogus “revolution” and who will not be voting in the general election unless Bernie is not the nominee. Still worse with no party loyalty they could be voting red for revenge.
*
I think his running as an independent would make no difference either way and in fact it might even would help our Parties candidate be able to create unity and a solidarity voting block that would include many who are just tired of extreme views running our country and will just not vote for any extremism, left or right.
*
I know our candidate Hillary has been forced off her smart strategy of looking forward past the primary and focusing on the general election. She had been campaign messaging very moderate, trying to appeal to the many moderates who would not vote for a right wing, tea party radical like Trump or Cruz.
*
Now just because of Sanders running his pipe dream “revolution” extremist campaign and his naive supporters eating the unrealistic undo-able platform up, she has had to bring them up to speed as to who she really is, even though the rest of us have known this about her for over 25 years.
*
She may have now for sure sealed up the nomination by saying what really didn’t need to be said except for what Sanders has force her to do however has Sanders cost her and us, “The Democratic Party” the general election is still to be seen!
*
All I know is that I wish the Democratic Party leadership had not let that independent sponge off us. He wouldn’t even be an issue now if he has been told no, go run as an independent. He couldn’t have afforded the cost and where with all it takes for a national organization.
*
The real kicker is that in the end he is still not going to get the nomination but it is now going to hurt our candidate in two ways. A large percentage of his supporters will end up not voting for our candidate in the end and now the added loss of many moderates votes she was messaging to may be lost as well.
*
So for me the sooner Bernie sanders is made to run as an independent the better. Why should we let him sponge off our Party any longer and further risk letting his go nowhere platform and extremist “revolution” do even more damage than he has already done?
